The sophistication of a traditional upholstery is usually hidden under fabric and filling materials. Furthermore traditional upholstery is rarely in demand as it is a too slow and costly procedure. Although the advantages of the old upholstery culture are its sustainable materials as well as the durability of the furniture. Therefore, this project focuses on how modern technology can support and revive the old craft. In detail: How to tie up the upholstery springs with modern technology.
